Normal Weekly Shopping Trip @ Walmart

Submitted by Stephanie on August 17, 2008 – 5:11 pmNo Comment

I normally just like to post my super-savings grocery trips because, well, they’re much more fun! But, I also have a weekly shopping trip (usually to Wal-mart) where I buy my weekly needs that aren’t on sale anywhere else and any ingredients I still need for a recipe. I still use coupons if I have one for the product and PM (price-match) everything I can. Wal-mart is VERY picky about price-matching though. No Buy One Get One Free/50% off/etc., no 50% off or 25% off, etc, no 1¢ sales, no After-coupon/rebate/ecbs sales. Basically it just has to be a clear-cut price with no “gimmicks.” You can pricematch trash bags- sale price $2.99 but not trashbags-50% off! See? Also, Wal-mart doesn’t double/triple coupons like most grocery stores.

Anyway, here is my weekly shopping trip at Wal-mart:

While I was there I also got a few cheap school supplies and some stuff to organize my coupons. I used to use a binder but I just don’t have the time/patience for it anymore. So, my inserts have just been sitting in a stack in my office. Organizing Junkie inspired me to organize them so hopefully by tomorrow I’ll have organized coupons = less stressful shopping trips for me, yea!

Check back tomorrow for Menu Plan Monday- hosted by Organizing Junkie!
