Since I use so many abbreviations (most couponing blogs and forums do) I thought I should make a post with all the definitions of coupon terms that I use. Hopefully my posts will make more sense after reading this.

AC = After Coupon
AR = After Rebate
BLINKIES = In-store smartsource coupons near product, usually from red blinking box
BOGO or B1G1F = Buy One Get One Free
BTFE = Box Tops for Education
B&M = Brick & Mortar, as opposed to an online store
CAT or CATALINA = coupon dispensed at register after purchase
CLFE = Campbell’s Labels for Education
CRT = Cash register tape
DND = Do Not Double
DOUBLE COUPON = coupon that a grocery store doubles in value
ECB = CVS Extra Care Bucks earned for purchases
ESR = EasySaver Rebate (Walgreens Monthy Rebate)
ETA = Edited to add
FAR = Free After Rebate
FREE ITEM COUPON = A coupon that allows you to get the product completely free
GDA = Good Deal Alert
GG = Grocery Game
HBA = The health and beauty aid section in the grocery store
HCW = Hot Coupon World
HDA = Hot Deal Alert
HT OR HGT = Hang tags for refunds or coupons hanging on a product
HTH = Hope this / that helps
IVC = Walgreen’s Instant Value Coupon ( Found in the monthy EasySaver Catalog )
IP = Internet Printable Coupon
LOND = Land of No Doubles
MFG = Manufacturer’s Coupon
MIR = Mail In Rebate
NED = No expiration date
NBPN = No Beer Purchase Necessary
NWPN = No wine purchase necessary
OOP = Out of Pocket
OOS = Out of Stock
OYNO = On your next order
P&G = Proctor & Gamble Sunday supplement coupons
PEELIE = coupon that you peel off the package
Q = Coupon
RC = Raincheck
RP = Red Plum Sunday Supplement Coupons
RR = Register Rewards
SS = Smart Source or Sunday Supplement coupons
STACKING = Using a store specific coupon with a MFG coupon (most stores allow this)
TEARPAD = A pad of refund forms or coupons found hanging from a store shelf or display
TIA = Thanks in advance
TMF = Try Me Free
TRIPLE COUPON = a coupon that a grocery store triples in value
WINETAG or WT = coupon, usually for $ off any meat, cheese or produce
WYB = When You Buy
YMMV = Your Mileage May Vary = success of the attempt may vary at your store

**Coupon Locations in Deal Posts**
When I post deals for stores I post the location of the coupon you need to use. I post the coupon location in this format:
(date, coupon insert) example: (9/7 SS) = (September 7th SmartSource Insert)
So, if I post this deal:
Crackers $1 – $1/1 Q (9/7 SS) = Free, that means you can find the coupon for $1 off 1 package of crackers in the September 7th issue of Smartsource Coupons. Coupons do vary by location. I might get $1/1 crackers and you might get $1/2 if you are in a different area.
