Last week went great except I didn’t make the Provolone-wrapped chicken, so I’ll be making it this week.

Monday: Sloppy Joes and Oven Fries

Ground Beef: $1.30
Sloppy Joe Sauce: $1
Buns: 98¢
Potatoes: $1.93

Total Cost: $5.21

Tuesday: Provolone Wrapped Chicken, Mac n’ Cheese, & Green Beans

Chicken: $1.60
Provolone: $1.21
Macaroni: 50¢
Green Beans: 23¢

Total Cost: $3.54

Wednesday: Leftovers

Total Cost: $0

Thursday: Spaghetti with Garlic Toasted Breadsticks

Ground Beef: $1.30
Sauce: 61¢
Breadsticks: $2.14

Total Cost: $4.05

Friday: Leftovers

Total Cost: $0

Saturday: Bruschetta ‘n Cheese-Stuffed Chicken Breasts, Steamed Broccoli, & Rolls

Diced Tomatoes: 35¢
Mozzarella: $1
Stove Top: Free (from stockpile)

Sunday: Stromboli & Salad

Meat mixture: Free (from freezer – last time made enough for two)

    Wow, very impressive cost breakdown with your meals. Where do you find your meat for so cheap? It costs at least 2-3 times that around here!

    A while back I had coupons for $2 off Tyson frozen chicken breast and Walmart had the 2.5lb bags for $5.99 so I stocked up (the exact same bags of chicken cost $10 – $11 at the grocery store)! And the ground beef I just found last week at Walmart – 5lb chub for $6.50. That’s the cheapest I’ve seen ground beef in a while so I bought 2 chubs. As long as you buy it on sale and buy enough to last a while then you don’t ever have to pay full price! Meat can definitely be a budget killer!
