I can't believe I waited so long either!! This is a great program and if you have kids (or nieces/nephews or granchildren) you should definitely sign up. You can even sign up and start saving when you are pregnant or sooner! We also opened a 529 college fund and linked it to the U-Promise account. Every quarter the money from U-Promise will automatically be deposited into the 529. How easy is that? I just signed up for U-Promise last November. I can’t believe I waited so long either!! Just remember that the Upromise coupons will not deduct the coupons from your grocery bill, it will add the coupon value to your Upromise savings account. That's it!
