What do you mean by tripling/doubling coupons up to 4 per transaction?

Doubling coupons is when the store will take your 50¢ coupon and give you a total discount of $1. If you have (5) 50¢ off Green Giant coupons, they will only double the first (4). You can have (4) Green Giant 50¢ coupons and (4) 50¢ Fiber One coupons and they will double all of them. So, only the first (4) of the SAME/LIKE coupon will double per transaction.

So let’s say Green Giant is $2.
You have 2 50¢ off Green Giant coupons.
Will they take both coupons for the Green Giant, so it will be for free?
Or will you have to buy 2 Green Giants in order to use both coupons?
