The dove deal still works for me. I’ve done it many times (ha) so i could roll my RR to get diapers (which i so far have bought 8 packs!) So as of today i still get $10 RR for 8 bars of soap and the deal works with travel size soap as well…. i do not know if it works with ALL dove products or just soap tho. i’m trying to find out now =)

Sometimes Target does have unadvertised specials that none of the employees know about. For a gift card deal, the register will automatically alert the cashier to scan a gift card for you as soon as the appropriate # of items are scanned.

Do you think unadvertised Target specials work the same way where they print automatically on the receipt (catalina)? I saw a post by a blogger about Target and Kellogg’s cereals the other day – something like buy 5 and get a $5 Target gift card (and buy 10/$10 Target GC). With coupons in hand, this was a steal, but no one at the store could tell me anything about this deal. I had customer service ring up 5 boxes, but no deal came up on the computer. Would I have to go through with the purchase and check the receipt?

This deal is unadvertised, so the cashiers aren’t going to know about it. The system will automatically print the RRs when you buy the qualifying products.

Went to Walgreens… they said there’s no RR for Dove. as they looked at the advertisement / promo paper -.- Does the cashier supposed to know this?? Or the system will automatically deduct it

Woo hoo! I actually got in on this one! And the Blink Tears moneymaker, too. My cashiers were unaware of the RR's for Dove since it's not even advertised. They were all surprised. Nissa’s last blog post..Need a last minute Valentine?

The cash register will automatically take off 60¢ for each soap! It would be up to the cashier to enforce the limit.

Does the cash register know to stop it at limit 3 or does the cashier have to catch that?
