All You Magazine Coupon Update

Submitted by Stephanie on May 16, 2009 – 12:30 pm7 Comments

allyou_cover

It was recently discovered that All You was issuing additional coupons in the newsstand issue.  Subscribers were not pleased – after all, shouldn’t it be the subscribers getting the added benefits?  Well, All You heard your complaints and here’s what they had to say:

Subscribers are our loyal customers and we certainly don’t want them to feel short-changed. We are currently reviewing our policies about accepting coupon advertising, with a goal of more closely aligning the coupon value in our newsstand and subscriber editions. Because we work several months in advance, however, the newsstand edition of the June issue includes an extra booklet with $12.50 worth of coupons. The two editions are otherwise the same in terms of coupon value.

If you are a subscriber and you would like to receive this booklet you can email subsvcs@allyou.customersvc.com.

Please include in your e-mail:

1)  Your account number, found on the mailing label just above your name and address.   It is nine digits and is usually located between two asterisks, for example *123456789*

2)  Your name and address as it appears on the mailing label

3)  Your e-mail address

4)  A specific mention that you are looking for the “Coupon book from the June issue of All You.”

An All You magazine 1 year subscription is currently just $10 after $5 instant savings at Amazon!  See more about this fantastic deal HERE.

Ok, so this question isn’t actually related to this exact post… but I read in one of your previous posts that you have the Google Toolbar with AutoFill. So after I read that, I downloaded it and loved the AutoFill feature for about 2 weeks… and now it’s not working at all any more. I googled it and saw that other people had had that problem, but I never found anyone who said how to fix it. Have you ever had that problem/do you know how to fix it?
And I do love your site. You’re always so neat and well organized-and I’m in the DFW area, so I love to have a local resource. (Speaking of which, do you know any other local coupon bloggers? Always helps to make sure we’re getting the same ads and such.)

    Anyway, thanks again!

I always wondered about that! The coupons were always so wonderful when I bought the magazine at Wal-mart that I decided to subscribe. But then, it seemed like they dried up a bit. I thought maybe it was bad timing on my part!

I sent them an email, just as you suggested- and I got a response saying that they’d like to help me resolve my issue, but they need more information from me??? I just deleted it- I tried, but maybe I didn’t say what I needed to say!

Thank you for the information about the All You Magazine coupon insert in the June edition. I sent an email to All You with the information you provided. Thank you!

I received an email from AY Customer Service thanking me for contacting them; however they informed me they are out of the coupon booklet. They are extending my subscription by ONE issue, but the discrepeny in coupons will continue for several months (they print several months in advance), so I am not exactly happy with the response I got.

I just received the same response as Rachel. I sent my email late Saturday night. I am not sure of the timing of this promotion, but the earliest that I read about it was here at couponing101 (other blogs I read posted it later). Stephanie, you obviously posted sometime during the day on Saturday, so I am a little disappointed they ran out so quickly.

Do you know if the June issue has already been mailed out to subscribers? I ordered a new subscription, but haven’t gotten my first issue yet. I know it takes up to 8 weeks, but I thought I check.
