One of the greatest things about the blog world is the friendships you develop with other bloggers.  Many of you already know that Rachel from Surviving the Stores is my friend IRL (in real life).  I’ve also gotten to know some other great bloggers as well.

On Wednesday some of us DFW bloggers got to have a fun get-together at the mall!  Rachel and I headed to the mall to meet up with Alyssa and Amy!  We chatted while the kids played, and then grabbed coffee at a book store where it was a bit quieter.

We all planned to get together again soon – little did we know how soon it would be!  We ended up getting invited to visit the Fort Worth Zoo to check out the Kleenex Anti-viral Battle the Bug booth.  So, on Friday we packed up again and headed out!

Despite the 100 degree temperature, we had a blast!  The kids loved playing games at the Battle the Bug booth and meeting their mascot Achoo!  My 3 year old was more interested in Achoo than most of the animals!  I think everyone had a great time chatting and exploring the zoo.

I had such a fun time with these ladies, and I am looking forward to the next get-together!
