Couponing 101 Turns 1 Year Old

Happy Birthday to Couponing 101!  I started this blog last July, and now my blog is officially 1 year old!  So much has happened since then!

I remember when I started this blog, everyone was always asking me if there were any good deals at this store or that store, or asking me how I got such great deals.  I decided that, rather than say the same speech over and over again, I could write it all out and direct people to a website!  And so, Couponing 101 was born!

Being a blogger has truly changed my life.  I know it is cliché, but it’s really true!  I have learned so much in the past year, and there is even more to learn!  I’ve learned all about social networking, HTML, advertising, and the huge world of blogging. As much as I’ve learned, I still rely on Michael at Uncorrupted Hosting to work out the kinks in my blog that occur on an almost daily basis.  I seriously don’t know if my blog would have survived this long without him, and I hope he knows how much I appreciate his help!

I have also made some great friends in the blogging world!  Although Rachel was an FBB (Friend Before Blogging), blogging has brought us much closer together.  I have also become friends with some amazing people through the D/FW Chix group.  We’ve had tons of fun at various events, not to mention the hours we spend chatting on Twitter and Skype!  I no longer consider them just my “blog buddies“, they are simply my friends.

While I started my blog to help others learn to coupon, I am still amazed by how many people actually read my blog!  I am so grateful to those of you who leave comments, send me emails, and tell your friends about my blog.  I am constantly touched by how kind and thoughtful my readers are.  I read each and every comment and email, and while I can’t always respond in a timely manner, I appreciate every single one!  Your success stories and thanks brighten my day and give me renewed passion and motivation to continue blogging!  Thank you all SO much for your support!
