This past Sunday I attended a local blogger meet up at the Melting Pot restaurant in Southlake, Texas. I had an absolutely fabulous time!
I had never been to the Melting Pot before, so I was quite impressed! We were served a four course fondue dinner that lasted several hours. My favorite course was dessert (obviously). We had three different chocolates to dip a variety of sweets in. My favorite was strawberries dipped in raspberry dark chocolate – oh my, it was heavenly!
The restaurant was very accommodating and the staff was fantastic. Our waitress, Sara, was a perfect combination of professional and friendly. Make sure to ask for her when you go – she will take great care of you!
While the food was mouth-watering, and the staff was attentive, the best part was the conversation. I got to hang out with my bloggy buddies again, as well as meet some new #DFWCHIX from the blogging world. Here we all are with our waitress, Sara:

The Melting Pot was incredible, and if you are looking for a place to go for an anniversary or a birthday, I highly recommend it.
