Walgreens has Photo Stamp Kits on clearance for $7.19, down from $19.99. (The kits at my store were not marked, but they still rang up at the clearance price.) The kit contains a code for 20 free personalized photo stamps from their website. A book of 20 stamps costs $8.80 regularly, so this is a great deal! Plus, if you are a Upromise member, you can get $8 in college savings for each photo stamps transaction through the Upromise link! That means you are getting the stamps for FREE! If you are not yet a member of Upromise, read my post HERE about how it works.
A huge thanks to Common Sense with Money for the heads up on this deal!

Melissa,
They were behind the photo counter.

They were already sold out at my store yesterday. I was so disappointed!

I wanted to thank you very much for this. I was able to purchase all the postage I need for my wedding, and will be able to customize them with my engagement pictures. This made my day!

Will UPromise pay you back for morethen the 20 stamps?

Megs,
I think so. I emailed their customer service to be sure and should hear back from them in a few days.

I just heard back from Upromise: you will earn $8 back for EACH transaction and there is no minimum purchase requirement! Yay!

Have you tried it and gotten credit with uPromise? My account shows that the $8 was issued, then removed. Would it make sense that an essentially “free” transaction (I gave them no money) would result in me not getting my $8? Thanks.

Same thing happened to me. I got the $8.00 credit, but then the same day I got a negative $8.00 credit. I emailed them today. Anyone else had this issue? I bought a few of them so I hope it works out!

Shelly & Meg,
I have not made my purchase yet (I know – I am SO slow!) so I cannot personally verify this. Upromise customer service assured me that no minimum purchase was required. Perhaps it is like a debit card purchase – the $8 automatically shows up in your account but then disappears until your order ships – that is usually how it works when I purchase something online. I suggest emailing Upromise if the $8 credit does not come back.

Thanks for replying, Stephanie. I’ll contact Upromise (Meg, if you’ve already heard something, maybe you could let me know?). My order has been shipped and I’ve had it for about a week, but still no $8. I also noticed that if you do CashCrate, they have an $8 offer on there. I’m wondering if that will work, though…

I just heard back from upromise. They said that photostamps.com is removing any monies deposited if a Wags code was used. The upromise rep said that, in general, we don’t receive credit if an outside (I.e. not upromise provided) code was used for discounts or payments on a transaction. Seems like a bad idea to me, since Photostamps obviously distributed the kits and was paid by Wags for them. It’s a bummer, too, since this was one of the reasons I stocked up on these – it was SUCH a good deal with the upromise credit. Guess it was too good to be true.

Stephanie, Do you think you could forward me the email that they sent you originally that said they would do it with no min purchase? I am so mad b/c I stocked up on them once I saw the $8.00 go through

Meg & Shelly,
I’m really disappointed with this as well. I will be emailing Upromise again and let you know what I find out.
Either way, at least it is still cheaper than buying stamps!

Sorry to keep bringing this up, Steph. I just wondered if you’ve heard anything new. I still have several kits to use, and I’d love it if Upromise/Photostamps changes their tune! You can email me directly if you’d prefer.

haha, Thanks Shelly, I have been hoping too! Let me know if you hear anything.
