I love bath and body products – lotions, body washes, body mists, scrubs, and all things smelly-good.  If it smells good, and makes my skin feel soft, I want to try it!  So, when I was offered the chance to try the new Vaseline Sheer Infusion lotion, my girly side got really excited!

What I thought:

I have been thoroughly dissatisfied with my face wash lately.  I have very high maintenance skin.  It is sensitive, breaks out at the slightest hint of oil, and I hate it if it feels dry.  Sounds impossible to care for, right?

Amazingly I’ve never tried Pond’s before.  I am certain I have purchased them in the past, what with all the good deals there have been for them.  I guess they just never made it into my face wash rotation somehow!  So, when I was asked to try Pond’s Wet Cleansing Towelettes and join the Pond’s Superior Clean challenge, I happily agreed.

I was sent a package of Pond’s Towelettes and a package of competitor brand towelettes to try and compare.  I began by alternating using the Pond’s and the competitor brand.   I even used one right after the other to see if more makeup came off after using the second towelette.  I was astonished when the Pond’s towelette came away with more makeup after I’d already used the competitor towelette!

I absolutely loved how my skin felt after using Pond’s.  It felt clean, dry (though not too dry), and there was no greasy feeling like there was after using the other brand.  I also love the ease of using the towelettes compared to my usual cream cleanser.  They required no water, and you don’t even have to rinse, which is convenient when you are a mom about to fall asleep while standing at the sink!

It’s official!  The 2009 – 2010 school year has begun!  Even though we homeschool, I still experience the stress and excitement of back-to-school time!
