The Kroger deals were just too good to pass up this week! I even dragged brought the kids with me! {gasp}

I had the most awesome cashier ever! Since I had the kids with me I was completely a little bit distracted, so while I tried to figure out my transactions, she made sure all my mega event discounts and coupons deducted properly. I seriously wish I’d had a tiny bit of brain function left so I could have taken her name!

I bought 85 items (the m&ms were purchased because one of my transactions went negative!).

Total Spent: $36.66
Total Saved: $174.92 (82%)

If you want to know how to get these great deals, you can see all the coupon matchups HERE, and a super easy beginner scenario HERE that will get you 20 items for under $5 using only printable coupons!

I had SO much fun during this shopping trip! I have been so busy lately that I haven’t done much deal shopping. So, I took the opportunity on Friday to stock up on some great deals! You’ll never believe this: I got every single item on my list!! How crazy is that?

Some of my favorite deals were from Target:

Target has the Pictureka card games for $6.64. I used this $5/1 Printable Coupon to get them for $1.64 each! I found them in the toy department on an end cap. They will make great stocking stuffers.

Target also has Eggo Bake Shop products on sale for $1.50. I used the $1/1 printable coupons from HERE and HERE to get them for just 50¢!

I also picked up a few deals at Walgreens, Albertson’s and Kroger, you can see the deal match-ups for those stores HERE, HERE and HERE.

How much did I spend on all the items pictured? $45.83! My receipts say I saved $229.55!

Did you do any shopping this week? Please share your deals and savings in the comments! Bloggers, you can link to your blog post with the Mr. Linky below!

I did have a few extra coupons. I got some $1.50/1 Kashi Coupons plus a Coupon for a Free box of Kashi Waffles in the mail from Vocalpoint. I also got a box of the Ritz Bits for $1 after $1 Target Coupon – not the best deal, but the kids love them!

The Salad Dressing, BBQ Sauce, 100 Calorie Packs, Bliss Candy Bars, 1 box of Kashi Waffles, and Quaker Bites were all completely Free! I think we are set for snack foods for quite some time!

My trip ended up being quite funny. I had a teenage guy for my cashier and as I was paying he called over another employee and asked “Is it okay if her total was like $80 and now she is only paying $8??” The other employee glanced through my coupons, asked if he had made sure I got everything for the coupons, and told him it was definitely fine! It really gave me a good laugh!

My friend Rachel over at Surviving the Stores also went to Target this week. You can see her incredible savings HERE!

Before Sales & Coupons: $155.13
Total Spent: $18.82
Total Savings: 88%

This week Tom Thumb (Randall’s/Safeway affiliate) had some great deals! They have a mix & match sale going on where you purchase 10 items and instantly save $5. See the coupon matchups HERE.

Ozarka Aquapods are included in this deal and worked out exceptionally! They are $2 before the instant savings and there are 75¢/2 coupons in the 2/8 Redplum insert. Plus, for every 2 you buy, a $2 on your next purchase (OYNO) coupon and a $1/2 Ozarka coupon prints out! So, this is how the deal works out:

(10) Aquapods $2 ea. = $20
- $5 instant savings = $15
- (5) 75¢/2 coupons = $11.75 out of pocket
Earn (5) $2 OYNO coupons
= $1.75 for 10 packs of water! That’s 16¢ each!

Then you can do the deal AGAIN using the $10 in OYNO and $1/2 coupons that printed out. That deal would look like this:

(10) Aquapods $2 ea. = $20
- $5 instant savings = $15
- (5) $1/2 coupons = $10
- (5) $2 OYNO = FREE
Earn (5) $2 OYNO coupons!

You can keep rolling this deal as many times as you want! You can mix and match the water with other items from the Mix & Match sale, just be sure to buy them in groups of 2 in order to get the coupons.

I also found peelies on the Sobe Water for 40¢ off. The Sobe was only 75¢ after instant savings so I made 5¢ on each bottle! The Fuze and cough drops were also free after coupon.

My store will only double/triple ONE of each like coupon, so I had to do several transactions to get these deals. I had only planned on getting 3 sets of the Mix & Match items but the Sobe peelie discovery and incredible Ozarka deal had me dashing back into the store twice! The Girl Scouts selling cookies outside the store probably thought I was crazy! Should I add the $3.50 I spent on Thin Mints to my totals? I think that since it’s going to a good cause and all, that it shouldn’t count towards my grocery budget.

Total Cost for all of the above items without sales or coupons: $224.08…..
….I spent: $39.33!

My friend Rachel, from Surviving the Stores, and I went on a late night run to CVS and Kroger. Our combined twelve transactions did not even phase the cashiers at Kroger!

Kroger is having their Mega Savings Event right now with some really great deals! So, even though I went last week, I just had to go again! All the Green Giant Veggies were FREE….I can’t pass up free vegetables!

I also made a last minute run to CVS to pick up the Free Gillette Razors that did not arrive in stores until Friday. I was quite surprised to find they had any stock! I also picked up some chips for our superbowl party on Sunday and two more Maalox to finish up the deal. I spent only $1.76 oop there!

All in all, it was a fun trip!

See how my shopping buddy did on her trip here! Together we saved over $300!

**After re-reading my post this morning I realized I had my totals wrong. I accidently put the savings amount as the original total. So, I actually saved 82% instead of 78%! My math skills are not the best at 2 in the morning! All totals should be correct now!
