  3. Transaction 1:

    (1) Colgate Toothpaste $3.99
    (4) Sobe LifeWater $1.79 B1G1Free
    – 75¢/1 Colgate Q
    – (2) B1G1Free Sobe
    Pay $3.24
    Earn $3.99 ECBs

How do you pay 3.24? The toothpaste is 3.99, the Sobos are B1G1free, so if you bought 4, it is like paying for 2, so that is 3.58 for a total of 7.57 minus the .75 coupon, or 6.82, not 3.24. And you get the 3.99 ECBs. Right?

  4. My CVS had one of the adidas3 (Intensive) Deoderant 50% off which made it $2.50, with the $1.00 coupon in the paper recently, and the $2 ECB that made a .50 profit! I thought some of you might like to check and see if it’s 50% off anywhere else!!

  6. Yes, you can use more than one coupon for the same brand/item per transaction. If you bought 10 pantene, you could use 10 pantene coupons.

I list the date & type of insert next to each coupon I list. So if it says (3/15 RP) then you can find the coupon in the RedPlum insert that came out in the March 15th newspaper.

Thanks for the reminder about the scenarios!

  7. Stephanie,
Thanks for your hard work! Are you going to adjust the scenarios?
Also, how do we know where to find the coupons that are listed? I saw one from P&G, but was not sure about all of them.

And, are you allowed to use more than one coupon on the same brand/item (e.g., Pantene) in one transaction?

As you can tell, I am new but eager to learn.

    Thanks.
    Elizabeth

  8. Candice & Rachelle,

You guys are absolutely right! That’s what I get for using a coupon database and not verifying with my actual coupon!

Thanks so much for bringing it to my attention!
