  1. Amy, you’re right, it was a good deal! That IS always frustrating, i hate when that happens.

and for anyone wondering about the Colgate deal it really is Crest and Oral-B. Colgate one was advertised with the deal in the store AND an employee confirmed it for me but when it came to it being rung up it didn’t go through 🙁

    • Hi Elizabeth. Yes – the gift card deal was for crest and oral-b, but many stores have included the Colgate Optic White in that sale for some reason. That’s why we included it in these matchups. It must be regional, though. Sorry about that!

  2. The Banana Boat deal is a good deal… but it definitely won’t be free. The wording on the little ads next to the Banana Boat were “8 oz sunscreen $5.99” …. but when I bought the 30 SPF Banana Boat, it didn’t register the cashier to give me a $5 gift card. SO frustrating … At first they tried to tell me that that specific banana boat sunscreen wasn’t included (simply b/c the ad wasn’t under it … but it was covered under the SPF 15 which is the same price b/c the ad was under that one)…. when I pointed out that it stated 8 oz sunscreen, they went ahead and gave me the deal.

Watch out for Target… they can be sneaky!!

    • Target always gives me a hard time with my coupons. I remember having to talk to four people for nearly a half hour to get my free swiffer refills with purchase of a starter kit. They told me the small kit with the handle wasn’t a starter kit because it only said “kit” and not “starter kit”….they tried to make me buy the extendable handle which was twice as much and, for the record, only said “kit”. I gave up and left with nothing.
