Vaseline Sheer Infusion Lotion $4.79

I had the $3.75coupon and the $1.50 coupon, and the same cashier also told me the same thing. She wouldn’t even try pushing it through but instead layed them out on that conveyourbelt thingy and kept muttering “sweet jesus” under her breath to me-I think she hates me.
So0 anyway she told me “no you can’t use those coupons” because the value is more than what the product is. I asked her to void the purchase and give me the coupons back and the products and I wentand looked through my coupons stash tofind the lesser value coupon of $1. So I only paid .4c but I am just totally frustrated with alot of the Target cashiers. I seem to always have issues with them. Anyone else in the same boat?

I was at Target the other day and the cashier told me that because the coupons was for more than what the product was being sold for they would not honour it. Is that correct?

@Anneke, The cashier was wrong. Their coupon policy says: “Coupon amount may be reduced if it exceeds the value of the item after other discounts or coupons are applied.”

I just got back from Target and encountered a problem with this deal. Was wondering if you could give me any insight or suggestions. I purchased a total of 20 (4 for each set of coupons as described in your post) The cashier took the B1G1 no problem but when he went to scan the $4 one it wouldn’t take and he gave it back to me??? I have taken my receipt back before for things like this but I want to make sure I am explaining it correctly to customer service. HELP!!!

@Stacie, They should have taken it and pushed the coupon through. The B1G1 coupon is counted toward the “free” item. The $4/2 is counted toward the ones you are still “buying”. So, you are still using 1 coupon per item.
