  1. Hey Holly, I dont know which Walgreens you go to, But Ive worked at three stores and all the register rewards shoot out. You can use the bucks on purchases to get another register BUT if you use a register reward that you got from an item to purchase the same one it wont work. For example, if you get a reward from glade and use it on another glade to get the same reward it wont work, and then we have to call for a refund which makes you guys wait a little longer. You get it Holly? Also you can only use 1 coupon PER item, this includes register rewards. So say you have three items and three newspaper coupons and a register reward, most likely it wont work. Ive tried manually to put in a coupon and it still doesnt take it, so make sure to have enough items for the coupons. Just get a “filler” item like a candy bar. Something cheap so the coupon will work. Also make sure the amount for the regiister reward is not MORE than your total or else coupon wont work. For example if your total is 4.32 but its 3.99 originally, the 4 dollar register reward wont work at all. I know its a lot but this is just to save you trouble. Also try to be a little “lenient” on the cashiers, with the exception of me, most cashiers have a dislike when they see the coupon lady come in LOL. Ok sorry about the long paragraph, have a great day.

  2. I see that you get the register bucks back but Walgreens will not let you use the bucks on purchases where you will receive additional rewards bucks. I find the Walgreens reward system very difficult to use.

    Any suggestions?

  4. Hey Wylene, I work for Walgreens and welcome to the couponing team! If that happens usually you can return it and theyll give you your coupon back, then you can just wait until Saturday and use the coupon!

  5. I made a mistake today at Walgreens, not realizing the Rimmel wasn’t on sale until Saturday 10/10! So I used my B1G1 free coupon and paid 7.49…so that’s like 3.75 a piece. Not too bad I guess. I just started this whole couponing thing, its definitely a learning process. Still, it’s been fun!
