I bought two at the golden triangle Albertson's and had no problem.
tried to use the $1/1 velveeta q today at albertson's on golden triangle. was told that i could not b/c value of q was more than purchase price. i calmly asked the cashier if it was possible to adjust the q so that i did not earn overage. she told me that was not allowed. i told her that i would take the q to walmart and price match there. since this is not the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd time that i have had poor experiences at albertson's, (have unknowingly bought expired items at 2 locations) i will no longer be an albertson's customer. there are just too many other grocery options that are far more customer friendly.
however, thank you, couponing101, for posting the grocery deals. they help me weekly as i try to lower our grocery bill.
this is one of they only times I like to shop at walmart - when they pay me. Just price match there. =)
Oh no! I have never had an isssue with coupon overage like that or recived expired items! I usually go to the one off harwood in euless. They are very nice and i never have issues....

i unknowingly bought expired grands biscuits at one by me a couple weeks ago. SUPER annoying! just because it's cheap doesn't make it any less wasteful... grrr =/
Carving Board Lunch meat has a great $1/1 coupon in the 8/7 SS that you can pair with the $1.99 sale price for a price of $.99 each (limit 2). These are delicious!
You can use the printable coupon for peterpan (from coupons.com a few weeks ago) .50/1 with doubles make .49 cents!
