CVS Scenarios for Beginner’s 7/27

This is a really great week to start couponing….even if you don’t have any coupons!

I know a lot of you are new to my site and couponing, and that you may not have accumulated many coupons yet.  I’m going to show you how to get some great deals at  CVS without needing any coupons to start!

I know it may be intimidating to do several transactions at once, but doing several transactions will result in you paying less. Don’t worry! If there are other people waiting in line just move to the back of the line after each transaction. This will give you time to go over your receipt and make sure everything rang up correctly.

CVS has lots of school supplies Free After Extra Bucks this week.

First you need to go into CVS and sign up for an Extra Care Card. Then pick up the weekly sale flier at the front of the store and locate the Free School Supplies offers so you can see what you need to look for. Then pick out the items indicated in the scenario.

The cashier should ask for your Extra Care Card before scanning any of your items. You need to use your own card to get the ECBs (Extra Care Bucks = CVS Money).

The Back-to-School Freebies are only on sale through 7/28, so shop soon!

1st Transaction

(1) Caliber Composition Book 99¢
(1) Caliber or CVS/Pharmacy Erasers, Push Pins, OR Binder Clips 99¢
(1) Caliber Pencil or Index Card Case 99¢
Pay: $2.97 + tax

(3) ECBs for 99¢ will print at the bottom of your receipt. Tear or cut them off.

2nd Transaction

(1) Swingline Tot Stapler OR Caliber Sticky Notes 2 pk 99¢

Pay: 89¢ + tax

An ECB for $2 and (2) ECB for 99¢ will print at the bottom of your receipt. Tear or cut them off and save them for next week! OR you could do buy another set of the school supplies, which have a limit of 2!

So, for just $3.86 + tax you now have a bunch of school supplies and some toothpaste and $3.98 ECBs to use later! Keep your ECBs in your wallet or an envelope in your purse so you don’t lose them – they are just as good as money at CVS!
