  • It's great how you break things down here. I love couponing. Yesterday I went to target and before coupons my total was just over $16. By the end of it all I paid under $3. It's a great feeling when that happens!

  • Cindy,

You should have received your RR. There may have been a prob w/ their catalina machine. Man Qs have no effect on RR deals. Try returning and rebuying at a different register.

  • TracyH,

They were correct. If you did the Huggies deal and then tried to buy more Huggies w/ the $10 RR you just earned it would cancel out the RR deal and a new one would NOT print. You could use the $10 RR to buy OTHER RR deals though. It only doesn't work if you try to do the SAME deal. I think I explain it a little better in Walgreens 101: https://www.couponing101.com/2008/11/walgreens-101.html

  • Help with huggies
Yesterday I bought 3 pks of huggies with 3/$5 coupons, 1 colgate with 1/$2.50 coupon. I even tried to use the $1.50 coupon for colgate and they wouldn't let me b/c the difference was only 99 cents, I told them to just keep the difference. Anyways, I didn't get the $10 register reward and they said I didn't b/c I used the $5 coupons. Is this true to some stores?????? Could I have done anything different?
    Thanks!

  • Thanks for putting the Russell Stover Candy Eggs in your picture! I panicked at the register when I needed one more iteam to be able to use my coupons and then I remembered the eggs! Is there anything cheaper at Walgreens?

  • I tried to do the glade deal again today, though I dint have any more of the $4 Q's but the lady at my walgreens took off only $3.99 for the BOGO coupon, saying that I had already gotten an IVC for it, so she could not take $7.99 off. It dint sound fair to me. Anyhow, I got 2 of them for $4, but its ok since I paid only 22cents for 2 Glades sense and spray, colgate toothpaste and a Garnier yesterday. That was an awesome deal.
I think if you have run out of the BOGO Qs for the Glade lasting impressions, it could still be a good deal if you buy 2 of them, and use 2 of the $3 Q you get in the packs, and with the IVCs you would only be paying $2 +tax for 2 of them. Thats also a good deal I think...
