Daily Frugal Tip: Use Old Oatmeal Canisters As Yarn Holders

Next time you use up the last of your oatmeal, wash and dry the canister really well and set it aside.

Oatmeal canisters make fabulous containers for one skein of yarn. Punch a hole in the top and feed the yarn through it. Continue your knitting or crocheting project as usual. This helps to prevent the yarn from getting tangled, and keeps your yarn from rolling all over the place! You can even decorate it and make it fancy, if you want. 🙂

Did you catch how to turn oatmeal containers into designer bath tissue holders?
