Looking for a free way to entertain your kids this Leap Day? Head over to Target to celebrate Dr. Seuss’s birthday tomorrow!
While Dr. Seuss’s birthday was actually on March 2, Target is celebrating on February 29 so that it falls on a Saturday. The fact that it happens to fall on Leap Day seems like a fitting way to celebrate the fun, quirky writer.
The event runs from 10 am to 11:30 am local time. The celebration will include a read-along of “Happy Birthday to You!” every 30 minutes. There will also be giveaways and activities for kids to enjoy.
Before you head over, just check to make sure your nearest store is participating. Then, enjoy the fun, free event!
