No doubt your heart, like mine, is breaking for Haiti. All those people, those children, without homes or food or missing family members. It truly makes you stop and take a look around. Take a look at everything you have been blessed with. Can you imagine losing it all?
I want to help and I know many of you do too. Service is my spiritual gift, and it is a deep desire I have to help those in need. I don’t always know what it is I need to do, I just know that I have to do something.
I am so blessed with this blog and it has been a never ending source of opportunity for me. The opportunity I have right now is to use it to help Haiti. Crystal at Money Saving Mom has rallied the blogosphere to help Haiti. For every blog that posts about how they are helping Haiti, Crystal will be making a donation to Compassion International. Several bloggers are pledging to do the same, including myself.
Leave a comment about your efforts to help Haiti, and for each comment on this post by January 21st, I will personally donate $1 to Compassion International’s Haiti disaster relief fund. If you have a blog post, please include a link to your post below and I will donate an additional $1 per link. So, $1 per comment, $2 per link, up to a $500 total donation.
There is no obligation for you to donate as well, but if you are interested, even a small amount can help. Skip your morning Starbucks or a night out to dinner and donate the money you would have spent. It all adds up and it does make a difference. Even if you are unable to give financially, you can take a minute to leave a few comments on the astounding number of blogs raising money for Haiti.
Don’t forget, the biggest way you can help Haiti is to pray.

thats nice of you.
commenting to help!
what a wonderful idea. They need all the help they can get.
They really need to provide emergency visas for those who have relatives already here in the US and other countries, especially those poor children.
Hi,
I work at Walgreens, and there we are taking donations for Haiti through the Red Cross Haiti relif fund. One cool thing that you can do there is donate your Register Rewards to the fund, so if you have any Register Rewards that are about to expire, you can donate them to the fund.
Thanks for helping Haiti!
thank you for doing this!
A friend in my MOPS group collected supplies this morning for a group going over to serve soon. I took her a bag full of 1st aid supplies (band-aids, gauzed, ect.) Glad to help!
My prayers are with the Haitians and the relief workers who are helping them put their lives back together.
