H&R Block Tax Talk Line on March 25th + Giveaway!

With April 15th looming closer, and the nearly 300 new tax laws in effect, I’m sure many of you are looking for last-minute tax advice! Good news – tomorrow, March 25th, H&R Block is offering 24 hours of free tax advice!

Taxpayers can call 1-866-HR-BLOCK or email taxtalk@hrblock.com on March 25th  from from 12:01 a.m. CT through 11:59 p.m. CT for free answers about unemployment benefits, the homebuyers credit, common deductions and more.  Questions can also be submitted online at the Get It Right community or via iPhone with the H&R Block Tax Answers application.

I hope they are prepared for a flood of calls, because free tax advice is hard to come by!  I, for one, have several questions I would like to ask.  You can also tune in to their online radio show on March 25th for “Must-Know Tax Advice for Taxpayers” from 10 am – 11 am, or “Must-Know Tax Advice for Bloggers and Freelance Writers” from 11:30 am – 12:30 pm. You can even submit questions in advance and have them answered on the show!

H&R Block also offers do-it-yourself tax preparations software.  Since H&R Block knows that “Not everyone speaks ‘tax’“, their H&R Block at Home software uses plain English to walk customers through tax preparation.  If you do wind up needing help, an H&R Block tax professional is just a phone call away.
