Ashley,
Interesting. I have never had more than 3 like coupons double/triple regardless of the item variety. Let me know if you try it out! 🙂

I noticed that you mentioned that Kroger will double/triple up to 3 like coupons and I just wanted to share some info with you that I received from a store employee/manager at Kroger.
I called to inquire about the coupon policy & the manager did inform me that it was the policy to double/triple only the first 3 like coupons; however, they also told me there was a way around it. The manager informed me that this policy only applied to “like items,” so if I purchased different items the register would double/triple all of the coupons I used.
Then the manager gave me an example. She said, “For instance, if I were buying 5 boxes of Tostino’s pizza rolls & had 5 coupons that I wanted to use, then I should not purchase all 5 boxes in the same flavor. Instead, I should purchase 3 of one flavor & 2 of another that way the items are not identical & all of my coupons should be doubled/tripled.”
Now, I have not tried this out since having made the inquiry, but just thought you & your readers might be interested in trying this idea out.
