How to Shop and Save at Lowe’s

If you’re passionate about home improvement, Lowe’s might be one of your favorite places to spend a Saturday afternoon. But with so many exciting products, your shopping list may get much longer than your budget will allow. These tips to save money at Lowe’s can help you tick a few more items off your wishlist.

Shop Sales

Lowe’s offers plenty of different sales that can help you snag your favorite products at a reduced price.

Weekly ads feature temporary markdowns, so you may want to watch the weekly ads to see if any products you’ve been considering are on sale.

Like any store, Lowe’s sometimes clears out stock. Because of this, you may find some clearance items whenever you shop. Lowe’s also offers seasonal clearances, particularly after Christmas and at the end of summer.

Additionally, Lowe’s offers big sales for Memorial Day, Father’s Day, the Fourth of July, Labor Day, and Black Friday.

Enjoy Contractor Pack Discounts

If you need more than one of a product, watch for signs advertising Contractor Pack discounts. You don’t have to be a contractor to receive these discounts, and they can help you save quite a bit by buying in bulk.

Sign Up for Text Messages

Signing up to receive text messages from Lowe’s can connect you with how-tos and other helpful content. Perhaps more excitingly, it could also help you save money. That’s because Lowe’s sometimes texts special offers and savings. If you’re addicted to home improvement, these text messages could help give you the inside track.

Price Match

Lowe’s will price match competitors’ prices on identical items. Store locations will also match prices from the Lowe’s website. However, it is important to note that price matching doesn’t apply to clearance prices, and you can’t use coupons or other promotions on products you buy with a price match.
