  • There is a store coupon for B1G1 Lysol toilet bowl cleaner at $2.99. You can also use this with a $1 off 2 lysol toilet bowl cleaners coupon that you can get on the lysol website when you sign up with them. There are other lysol coupons you can print out as well.
    2($2.99) - Store ad(B1G1 $2.99) = $2.99 - MFR Coupon($1) = $1.99
    So, they're roughly $0.99 each.
One more thing, sometimes the crunch bars have a 2/$1.00 price on them and others don't. Make sure you get the crunch bars that don't have that price on them so you can get them for this week's sale price at 39 cents instead of 50 cents. I got one with the price and one without the price without evening knowing it until I got home and noticed it on my receipt the difference. I still used the 35 cents off Crunch coupon. Yah, it's an 11 cent difference but it was something I should have spotted. I definitely will pay more attention at the register.

  • Hey everyone,

Last week I purchased the Gillette razor for $5.89 (used $4 coupon from P&G) and I got the $5 RR. However, on the next transaction, I bought another razor and used the coupon + the RR from the previous order and it didn't print another $5 RR. Is there a reason for this? I was pretty mad.

SN: I had my first real extreme couponing trip today at my local Winn-Dixie. Bought over $100 worth of product and only spent $3.21

    • @CouponKid, Walgreens has a complicated coupon/rr system. The rr's can't be used on the same product to produce more rr's. Always look at the bottom where it says "compliments of" section as this will tell you what products to avoid for that particular RR. For example, what I did is I bought the razor and got my $5 RR which said "compliments of P&G". My next transaction was to purchase the Finesse shampoo and I used the P&G RR. The Finesse shampoo printed a $5 RR "compliments of finesse" and I used that on my 3rd transaction to buy another razor. Hope this makes sense.

  • Did anyone in the DFW area get this dial coupon? my papaer did not have it (star-telegram)

  • I am new to all this, but I was wondering. Is it better to purchase each item seperately or one by one? I just didn't know if you would only get one register reward per puchase or if that mattered.

  • I got our Gillette Fusion razor this morning at Walgreens. And we had a 99 cent register reward from the free Sobe Water deal we got last night. Had to buy a piece of candy to make up for the overage of 10 cents. WE LOVE FREE! Thank you Couponing101 for teaching me how to get things for free.

  • I just wanted to point out a problem with the Gillette razor deal. Last week I bought one of the razors using my $4/1 coupon and earned the $5 RR. I tried to redeem the RR on my next purchase of the same razor, thinking that I could combine the RR and the MFC. You can't do it! The RR actually states on it that it cannot be used to purchase any P&G product. I was super disappointed! No 0.89 deal for me. Just thought I'd pass that on. Happy bargain hunting!

    • @Mrsjeodo, This will still work as long as you "stagger" your purchases. Just make sure that you don't use a RR to pay for another item from the same company. If you get a $5RR from the P & G razor, use that to pay for another item that will generate a RR from a different company, and then use the RR generated from that second purchase to pay for your second razor. Walgreens system is very complicated:-( If it gets too frustrating, stick to CVS. It's much simpler!

  • Are all of the red plum coupon inserts the same each week? The red plum coupons in our local paper did not include some of the coupons listed above.

    • @Sue, Each area might have slightly different coupons. One area might get a .50/1 and another will get $1/1. Another area might not even get that coupon.

  • There's a $3 off wal-flex coupon in the June coupon book. Can I use that on the wal-flex deal this week?

  • Hey I am a 21yr old mom of 3 babies under 3yrs old, and I cant afford ink for my printer much less a weekly newspaper. Is there any other way you can think of to get coupons. Living pay check to pay check and running out of money in the middle of the weeks getting really annoying..

    • @Tara,
My mother lives in Phoenix, AZ and I live in NM. She gets a lot of manufacturer coupons in her mailbox multiple time a week and especially lots of them in the Sunday paper. She usually gets 2 or 3 of the same coupons that comes out each week and she sends me them because I have a better use for them since I'm a mother and wife. If you have close friends or family that lives in a city that gives away coupons, you can try to have them send you coupons they get that they don't have any use for. They'll probably spend more money on your christmas or birthday gifts than the shipping for those coupons anyway. It'll be more meaningful to you because of your situation.

    • @Tara, as a family of 6 on only my hubbies income, i know how it can be!! when you need to feed those babies, all pride is set aside...i walk through my neighborhood and ask all the people i can if they will let me have their coupons. most people don't use them & will gladly let you have them. one other VERY helpful trick, is dumpster diving. go to your local recycling dumpster w/ a step ladder & a bag. the dumpsters only have papers & like items, no trash. i get @ least a full bag of coupons every week!! Good Luck mommy & chin up...they grow so fast, these times will soon be memories!!

    • @Tara, I just ordered my Sunday Orlando Sentinel for $0.51 per week for 13 weeks. The coupons will pay that bill over and over and over.

    • @Tara, I "subscribe" to the free Dallas Morning News Briefing to get the coupons that come in the Saturday briefing. I also subscribe ($20/year) to the Mesquite News, which is a weekly community paper delivered every Thursday that also includes the coupons. There are other communities in the Dallas area that offer a similar paper. You could also ask around for any friends or family that do subscribe to the paper and ask them to save the coupons for you.

    • @Tara, Tara, I know what it's like to be running on empty...I would start by seeing how much your library charges for printed pages. Regarding the paper, check and see if there are any free resources you can get. In the Dallas area there is a free paper called the Dallas Morning News Briefing. It has a set of coupons in it. I also pay for a copy of the paper and it comes out of my grocery budget. I know you might think, "I don't have the money" at first, but if you can buy a $2 or $3 paper and save $10 to $20 or more from it, then it's really not costing you any money.

  • Wals has a monthly RR, $4 wyb $15 of softscrub, sparkle and angelsoft products. So I wonder if you buy $3 softscrub, $6 sparkle, $6 angelsoft and purex if you will get two $4 RR.
