Whole Foods will have their organic whole chickens on sale for just $1.69 per pound this Friday (2/18)! There is a limit of 10 chickens per person. This sale should be happening at all Whole Foods since it was announced on their Facebook page, but you might want to call first and check anyway.
My stock-up price for regular non-organic whole chickens is 69¢/lb, so this really is an amazing price for organic chicken. I suggest getting there early!
I love to buy whole chickens and make Crock Pot Roast Sticky Chicken and then you can make homemade chicken stock with the bones!
