  1. The Kroger here only doubles coupons up to $1 so some of these aren’t accurate. Do some of the Kroger’s triple? When I looked it up it was nation wide. Just wanting to make sure.

  2. Has anyone seen any indication of when the Mega-event will end? I ran out of good coupons for this last week (except for Ronzoni, of which I now have 30 boxes – I think my husband is going to kill me if I bring home more) and this week’s paper was so dismal!!! Hoping that it sticks around so that I can get better coupons.

  3. If you go on Facebook and like the Freschetta page they will give you a $2 coupon which makes the pizza $2.49 🙂

  4. Some other items that I saw on iheartkroger and then confirmed that they are also in the DFW area:

$1 Reach floss, toothbrushes, flosser so free after the various $.50/1, $1/1, $2/2, etc coupons out there but my store was out of everything except for the regular floss :/

Ronzoni Smart Taste pasta $.49 after mega event, free after $1/2 coupon from the Ronzoni site 😀 If anybody has the insert coupon for off of any Ronzoni pasta (I couldn’t find it in my stash so my paper must not have gotten it) you could use that for this or the Healthy Harvest.

Dannon Light and Fit 4pack is $1.69 w/ mega minus $.40/1 coupon makes it $.89

Dannon Daninos is $1.75 after mega and Dannon Activia is $1.49 after mega so if you still have any catalinas for $1/2 now would be a good time to use them.

As mentioned above, the Nivea bodywash is a moneymaker in the DFW area too. (unfortunately I had already used my coupons at Walmart 🙁 )

And as always, check your Kroger coupons. They vary by person but along with my free coupons, they had $1/2 Kraft bbq coupon (made 2 bottles free), and $1/4 Propel water which made those $.25 each.

      • @Sarah, I saw that coupon too but unfortunately it was off of the bigger sizes 28 or 40oz I think it was (could be off on those as I ended up giving it to my dad) and the sale is 18oz. He was bummed when he saw that but I shared the stuff I got free with him 🙂

  5. @Crystal- they have a new coupon policy for the Southwest region and it does allow for overage. The policy and FAQ have been posted on some other blogs as PDF files they received from contacts at Kroger. Just thought I’d let ya know- 🙂

  6. I bought 10 Propel Zero waters and used 10 of the $1/1 coupon in this week’s inserts. The price with the sale was $.69 so I made $.31 a bottle. I also got 4 3-pks of Ivory Soap that were on sale for $.99. I used the $1 off Ivory bars or body wash coupon that was in this week’s inserts, making them free. I used the overage to buy a box of Sweet N’ Low (we were out) and paid just $.25 for everything! Hope this helps!

    • @Amanda, That is coupon stacking and against their policy. And a lot of stores’ registers will actually reject the paper coupon now if there is already an ecoupon

      • @Rae, I did email the corporate office about this

“oLimit one (1) manufacturer coupon per item purchased.

o Limit one (1) store coupon per item purchased

o One (1) manufacturer and One (1) store coupon can be used on the same item.”

        Reply

        • @Amanda, ecoupons (except for the rare ones on Kroger brand) are manufacturer coupons. Fine print from that coupon (and the rest)
“Limit of one coupon per item. Digital coupons and paper coupons may not be combined on the purchase of a single item.”

  8. I’m pretty new to couponing to so I’m not positive but I think that as long as you have other items to cover your overage then its ok. They just wont give you money back. So its important to atleast have a zero balance. I think…. 🙂

  9. Well, I’m new to couponing, but the computer didn’t beep when the coupons went through. So I guess they allow overage! I’m in Kentucky.

  10. At my store, the Nivea body washes were part of this megaevent, too, priced at $2.49, so if you still have the 3 dollar coupons, you can get them for a profit of 50 cents each!

  11. I went to Kroger in Plano, Tx today at lunch to get the Old EL Paso deal and was happy to see the that Stand Up Taco shells had coupons on the each box for a Free Taco Seasoning package. So for each box of shells I got a free pack of seasoning. Not to bad for my 1st every coupon trip. I’m just trying to start small and learn the ropes…

    Thanks,
    Mark
