  1. I have a question about the up rewards program from Rite Aid. I am new to couponing and I did my first shopping trip to Rite Aid yesterday. I wanted to start off slow until I fully understood the process but now I am even more confused. I bought 2 colgate toothpastes for $3.50 each, used a coupon for 0.75/1 and received two up rewards for $3.00 each. So I went back the next day and bought a Gillette razor that was on sale for $9.99, used a $4.00/1 coupon and figured I could use both up rewards and pay nothing out of pocket. Well I was wrong. The register only deducted one up reward so I ended up paying $3.86 for the razor. What did I do wrong? Please help.

    • I guess your total came out to be $5.99 before tax, it only used one of your $3.00 UPR towards the purchase…the up rewards does not include tax. you should have $3.00 UPR left, plus the $4.00 UPR you earned from the gillette purchase.
