  1. The Chicago Tribune started putting ads and coupons in a separate bag called “deals delivered” every Sunday. Most people leave them on the sidewalk so on Monday morning I walk around just my block and pick up 10-15. It is amazing.

  2. Your page says that there is supposed to be a P&G insert on Sunday the day of Christmas and none the week before. Is this right? Our paper doesn’t come out if Christmas falls on a sunday.

  3. my paper has a deal that you can buy the Sunday paper with double inserts for an extra penny. That is what I do. Saves on ink.

      • I’ve never heard of such a thing! That would be great, here in North Port FL, the Herald Tribune is the only paper that carries the most coupons, and your lucky to get the inserts that are supposed to be in there much less getting something extra! I called and asked if I came in on Mon. would there be a discount for the paper, and they said no it would be full price. Who would sell day old papers for full price? The Herald Tribune, thats who! Iasked about getting inserts from older papers and they said they have a contract and they have to account for each insert and they must be returned to the company. Since half the time inserts are missing out of their papers their counts must be way off. I wish there was another paper in this area I could get.

  5. @Sharon, now you have to search the weekly circulars of the grocery and drug stores that you go to and if there are items that you want to buy that are on sale that you also have coupons for then you buy it! Using coupons really isn’t worth it unless you pair them with sales! Hope this helps. Also see, the “getting started” tab for more strategies, that’s how I learned, hope this helps! 🙂

  6. What is the very first step to couponing on a grand scale? Is there someplace to see the steps listed with details?

I really want to get going with this. I have already clipped lots of coupons, gathered SS and RP and PG inserts along with printable coupons. What’s the next step?

    Thanks for your help

  8. I have a newbie question. Is it better to keep subscribing to the Sunday paper and clip coupons OR go directly to the SS and RP website and click and print the coupons you need/want for free?

  9. THanks for posting this but your Easter date is incorrect. Easter is the end of April on the 24th not April 4 (that was the date last year).
