**I mention a $4/$20 Beauty purchase CVS coupon in a few scenarios in this post.  The coupon was emailed to most CVS cardholders yesterday and can only be used once per customer.   So, despite my using it in several scenarios, you can only use it once.

  1. I had trouble at my CVS with the Tressemme purchase. The clerk did not want to give me the 6 coupons off. He called the manager and they told me that they would do it for me that once. On the coupon it say’s one per purchase. So be careful . I see most of you didn’t have the problem I had.

  2. My Tressemme coupons had a hard time scanning – but they did scan. I even opened the coupon in a photo program to adjust printing and put more than one on a page. On my receipt it said I had 6 toward the limit and had 3 more left to do.

  3. Stephanie,
I read your site daily for all the great info! Thank you so much, it helps to get a list and print to take with me for all the scenarios, you do a fantastic job!!
I have a question aboyt the Tressemme coupon. It says do not copy on the coupon, but, if it is a .jpg what is the difference than just printing it out as many times a s you want? Is there something wrong with just copying it since it is the same as printing it a dozen times? It may seem like a silly question, but I try my best to coupon with 100% honesty and had a friend who wanted some of these but didn’t have internet at home and wanted to make copies of it since it was a .jpg and every coupon is the same.
    What do you think?

Also, I already did this deal with 6 products and my coupons wouldn’t scan, maybe because of the problem everyone else is talking about with it being cut off?? Has anyone else had this problem? Luckily, my CVS cashier is always helpful and took them anyway, but I want to go to a different one today and they aren’t as “helpful” and I know they won’t take it if it won’t scan.
    Thanks for all your help

  4. I had trouble with the TreSemme coupon cutting off, as well. I went to print preview and set it on 50% and then it printed fine…much smaller and easier to use too.

  5. Hi, Stephanie – me again.
I just found a coupon in the 3/22 SS insert for $1.00 off any Bayer aspirin product 24ct or larger. Is there any reason that wouldn’t work on the Bayer Aspirin Quick Release Crystals?
BTW – I just got back from my CVS run and I’m still giddy over my deals!
    Thanks so much!

  6. Hi I did the TRESemme deal today and wanted to let you know I purchased 6 bottle and on my receipt it does not say i have reached my limit! Another lady told me she bought 12 bottle before it said limit reached!

  7. Stacy,

Purchase = item. So, if you “purchase” 2 TRESemme, you can use 2 coupons. If they wanted it to be 1 per transaction they would say “transaction” on the coupon.

  8. I know you’ve gone over this before, but I want to make sure I’m prepared when I go to CVS tomorrow. The Tresamme coupon: it says “Limit 1 coupon per purchase.” Does that mean we can only use 1 per item purchased or 1 per entire transaction? This part of couponing confuses me (and the cashiers) so much!

  9. Rachelle it did the same for me I just printed it again but made it landscape. My mom had this problem also but she said she thought it would still scan b/c she said it’s just the first part that gets scanned. HTH
