  2. My Walgreens doesn’t carry the Oscar Mayer Lunchables Combinations with Fruit. They did, however have the Lunchables “Lunch Combinations” for the same price. They include a Capri Sun and Reese’s Peanut Butter cup.
    So I did this deal:
    (2) Oscar Mayer Lunchables Lunch Combinations
$1.50, Buy 2 and Earn $1 in Register Rewards (Limit 1)
    – (2) $.75/1 Off any Lunchables from Stater Bros. Kraft food and Family Book
    = $.25 each

The Stater Bros. Kraft food and Family Book is available at Stater Bros. but are manufacturer coupons.

  3. I HATE MY WAL-GREENS!!!

Wal-greens here said they aren’t going take any coupons in less it shows the picture of the item you are buyig & that same size..

Then i was told if the coupon goes over the vaule of the product they ARE NOT going to lower the coupon to match the items price because they have other things to do.

On top of that i was told there is a limit of 6 mf coupons when checking out. in other words I cant have over 6 coupons no matter how many different items i’m buying. Plus I can’t use b1g1 coupons on b1g1 sale items. Also can’t use coupons on mark down items.

  4. The scotch deal worked very well for me. Buy one and get two free with the in store coupon and the $1 coupon for each roll meant I went a dollar negative, so I picked up a tube of Aquafresh (the $4 ones are on sale for just 2) So I paid for the tape taxes and 1 dollar for the toothpaste.

  5. At Walgreens, will it print out 3 RR coupons if I get different eligible offers? Or will it only print out one of them? I just want to know if I have to separate every RR offer in different transactions?

  6. Hello everyone. I love this site. Its so helpful. thank you. I did have a question. I am making my first attempt to try the walgreens deal with the gilette fusion razor .. now it says if you buy one at $9.89 and they will give you 5.00 reward plus the 4.00 off coupon then it should only be 89 cents plus tax? Has anyone tried it and does it work? Can I go in there and just get the razor and thats all and have my coupon and walk out paying 89 cents plus tax?? Let me know please.. I am new at this and I want to make sure.. thank you

    • @katie, You will go in and use your $4 coupon on the razor and pay $5.89. Then you get a $5 reward to use toward a future purchase. You can turn around and use it on some other items right then or you can save it to use on another deal next week.

  7. @Kate,

On my receipt it shows the deodorant for $4.99 each. Then $4.99 was taken off (coupon in the SS) and then $2.50 was taken off (since Walgreens was running BOGO 1/2 off). So they ended up being $2.50 for two.

  8. Just wanted to let you guys know that in Sundays paper there was a coupon for Gillette Mens deodorant BOGO Free and then Walgreens is running a sale on the deodorant BOGO 1/2 off. I got my fiance $30 in deodorant for about $7. Not bad considering the deodorant is $4.99 each and we bought 6!

Make sure you clip or print the Walgreens coupon and have your coupons available!

  9. Hi tried the Scotch tape deal at my local Walgrees in CT. They wouldn’t take more than 1 manufacturer’s coupon, so I got the scenario B. But didn’t like spending the $0.33 per item. Staples has a sale on Magic Tape for $0.99 this week, so I got mine free there with the $1 off printable coupon. BUT, they made me wait 5 minutes while they went to the back to check with their manager if I could use the coupon. They finally said yes, but only 1 coupon for the visit. =(

    • @Amy, I also did the tape @Walgreens. I had all the correct coupons and the Walgreens coupon from the paper, and I still ended up paying like $0.53. I know it’s not bad for three rolls but I thought it should have been less than that. Oh well..$0.53 isn’t bad!

  10. Hi there,

I did the scotch deal today as well in my walgreens and it worked somewhat for me. I still paid 33 cent plus tax total for all three rolls. I used the 3 coupons followed by the in store ad. Not sure what went wrong but I discovered it too late.

I just have one question. Why do we need 3 MF @ $1 each , wouldn’t 2 be enough to cover the $1.99??

    Thanks,

    Frank

    Reply

    • @Frank,
Frank, I am under the assumption that by using the third Coupon for the tape you could result in an overage for that transaction. In Northern Michigan, I used all 3 coupons plus the in ad coupon and got my tape for free 🙂

      Reply

      • I just went to my Walgreens today and had to leave without the tape because they told me i couldn’t use manufacture on top of their coupon because i couldn’t use coupons on the 2 free ones and trying to use 2 of the $1 off coupons wasn’t allowed because that was worth $2 and the total price was $1.99 and they couldn’t alter coupon value from $1 to .99 even though their coupon policy clearly states if coupon value exceeds product coupon value will be adjusted to zero out.

  11. Something is up with the stores you’re going to if you’re not getting an RR because an RR used is from the same manufacture. That’s a bunch of BS. I worked for Walgreens for four years before I became disabled. As for them telling you “no” about using certain amounts of coupons in a transaction, I don’t ever remember hitting a limit. As long as the amount of manufactures coupons matches the number of items properly, there was no issue. The only limits were for store sale limits (automatically controlled by the register) and specified limits on some coupons. If a manager gives you crap, call 1-800-Walgreens and demand they fix it.

  12. Does anyone know the price on the B1G1 All this week? Also, will Wag’s take a manufacturer’s coupon from Kroger (the kind Kroger sends in the mail)?

    Reply

  13. I have had the same issue Freda (Denton, TX).

Also, our Walgreen’s will no longer print RR for products you are buying if the RR you are using were given by the same parent company (not just the same product). I bought the Colgate toothpaste, but did not get my RR because the RR I used to pay was provided by Colgate-Palmolive…bummed! The manager said they are really making the couponing tricky, because some many peole are getting so good at it:(

  14. I went to Walgreen’s and tried to get the Dove men deodorant and when I used the $1 off coupon it wouldn’t print out the $3 RR. She said because with the coupon off and the tax and register rewards it would be over the price so can’t do it..I don’t understand!!!! This was in Killeen, TX

  15. Walgreens also has an in-ad coupon for Brut deodorant + Sure deodorant 2/$3.00…plus I has a $1.00 off coupon for Sure (today’s paper) and a $1.00 Brut coupon from a few weeks ago…so they were $.50 each

  16. I was told today at Walgreens here in Michigan that they are very soon going to limit transactions to 1. This will be a real bummer for getting the most out of Register Rewards. 🙁

  17. awesome savings this week!! the gillette bodywash is 3/$10 plus $3RR, using coupons from 5/15 insert, (3) 2/1 bodywash and (3) free deoderant wyb bodywash… got 6 products totaling nearly $30 for a mere $1!!!!!!! Woo hooooo!!!!!!!!!

btw, the scotch tape worked for me, 3 coupons and then scanned the ad.
    happy saving everyone 🙂

    • @heather,

Scotch tape worked for me too and am on my way to go get more!! I got 9 the first day to make sure it worked! NOT a problem at all.

OH and Walgreens has a deal in their store on Body Wash, it’s in their current ad. *Sorry don’t know lingo yet* However if you buy two…it’s 2/$6 then you get $4 in RR back so in the end they are $2 for both… Making each bottle only a $1. These are the Large sizes too and you don’t even need a coupon it’s automatic in their machine! Can’t beat it!! These are $4 each approximately normally! Just an FYI

  18. Hey guys,

For the Scotch tape, can you print 3 copies of the one on the link, or do you have to contact the manufacture to request more?

  19. I have heard that the Fusion Proglide RR is rolling and you can roll it and use it on the same item (heard that last week). Has anyone tried this and can confirm? TIA!

  20. My walgreens won’t let me use more than one manufacturer’s coupon on the same item. They said it’s a new policy. I guess it’s not in all the stores?
