  1. Although I shop mostly at Target, I recently read up on Walmart’s coupon policy and since RR are a manufactures coupon it CAN be used at WALMART! You savvy couponers know this, but I am just figuring it all out, so not only will they price match, you can use RR and any other Mcoupons. So don’t let them go to waste if you have any left from walgreens! I have to rethink avoiding Walmart!

  2. FYI…Just went to Walgreens to get the Fusion ProGlide deal. I had 2 coupons and wanted to do 2 separate transactions to use my RR on the 2nd one, however was not allowed to. The $5 RR you get back is really a “manufacturer coupon” and can not be used with the Proglide coupon, because Walgreens won’t let you use 2 manufacturer coupons in 1 transaction.

    • @Nancy, Nancy–that is correct, RR are considered a separate Man Q. That is why a lot of site that show several transactions to use RR have “filler” items… a pencil or something very cheap, so that you have another item to use another Q for! Hope that helps on your next trip 😀

  5. @Stephanie, I know this has been a discussion but I purchased the Right Guard B1G1 with the coupon and had no problem. On may way home from being Mom chaperone I stopped at 4 different Walgreens to get the bottles of Clean and Clear Body wash. I have to go to multiple stores because none of my stores have a lot of product (2 bottles) I went to 3 stores and had no problem with the B1G1 sale + B1G1 Q = FREE.
The last store I went to argued with me and I showed them the policy which states, “you can use 2 coupons for the items being purchased as long as the net does not go below zero.”
They still said I had to buy 3 to use the B1G1 free coupon.
Have you ever received a written response from Walgreens on this policy?

    • @Tanya,
I am so new to couponing and I’m pregnant so pregnancy brain gets the best of me. How exactly does this deal work? I think I may be missing something.

Are you saying that there is a deal in the store ad for B1G1 and then you are using a B1G1 coupon? So are they pretty much letting you go by the store ad and you get B1G1, but when you put the coupon for B1G1 with it, it gives you the one you were going to buy from their store ad for free as well?

Am I understanding this correctly now??

      • Thanks Stephanie!

At Walgreens yesterday, my total purchases were $170 and I paid $50 after using this site for finding coupons, match ups, and mail in rebates! This is so helpful because any extra freebies we purchase, we can give to people in our community who otherwise are going without personal care supplies.

Regarding the YMMV transaction, it does depend on the cashier and if they’re feeling helpful to save you money or if they’re not, or if they don’t really know how to do the register rewards effectively. The Right Guard (?) expiring today was the same type of transaction as the Clean & Clear is this week and my Walgreens was happy to do that transaction for me.

I found that the beauty department manager knew all of the sale stock and register rewards promotions, including the match ups from the paper, and she was pointing out all the =Free items that I hadn’t picked up yet. The regular cashier’s were not as knowledgeable about those and last week I missed out on some rewards because of how the purchases were handled.

Since we have to drive 40 miles round trip to get to any “large” stores such as Walgreens, I’m going to be sure to go in only when these couple gals are working.

Also, our store will pre-order and hold any items you want (including in store ad, Walgreens coupon booklet items, and =Free items) so they’re not out of stock after driving all the way there.
